Why we started
Every shopkeeper we spoke to was running the same three systems at once: a paper khata for dues, a calculator for margins, and a memory for everything else. The software on offer was either a desktop package sold once and never updated, or a ledger app that could add up but could not tell you whether you had made any money.
The gap was not features. It was that nobody had built for the conditions — a line that drops mid-sale, a staff member who should see stock but not profit, a customer who pays half today and half on Friday, a VAT return that has to match what the till actually did. Those are not edge cases here. They are Tuesday.
So Bisnesy is opinionated about the boring parts. Stock moves through a real valuation model. Dues settle in the order they were incurred. A return reverses the invoice it came from, exactly, in the accounts as well as on the shelf. Get those right and the dashboard tells the truth without anyone having to reconcile anything by hand.

Broadband in a Dhaka market is a rumour, not a service. A till that freezes when the line drops is not a till. Billing here works offline and reconciles when the connection returns — because the queue at the counter does not care why the software is thinking.
